baby proofing the ranch sliders
hi everyone.

my son started to crawl yesterday *claps*. so now, i need to baby proof the house.

my main concern is that we have two ranch sliders, one is the front door and the other is in the lounge, but since its summer, both are always open.

do you use the same safety gates for a ranch slider as you would for a normal door? or do i need to get special ones.

I don't have ranchsliders, but when i was small my parents did, and i remember Mum using the wooden safety gate as it fit just the same. No harm in trying it out :)

There might be an example here http://www.designersecurity.com/ I saved that link ages ago. You could use chairs lying down until you get something. I might be a while before he'll actually try to crawl outside if he has just figured out how to crawl.
